Condition Overview: Text obstructing creases; planar distortion; cockling; tears; losses; staining.

Treatment Justification: This project focused on testing parchment humidification (chamber vs. Gore-Tex pack), flattening (magnet tensioning vs. pin tensioning), stain reduction (HAGG vs. LAGG), and mending techniques (Mulberry tissues vs. goldbeater's skin), relying on the object's profile, to make the fragments and deeds safe for handling during digitization.

MS. 5160 Deed No.3 before humidification and tensioning; raking light illumination.

MS. 5160 Deed No.2
